What is the play mat made of?
Our baby play mat is made with a soft polyester surface and cushioned polyurethane foam filling. The backing is designed with anti-slip dots to help keep the mat in place on suitable indoor floors.
Is the mat soft enough for babies to crawl and play on?
Yes. The mat is designed to provide a soft and cushioned surface for babies and toddlers during crawling, tummy time, sitting, and daily play.
Is the play mat waterproof?
The surface is water-repellent, which helps with small spills and everyday messes. However, it is not fully waterproof and should not be soaked or machine washed.
How do I clean the play mat?
We recommend spot cleaning only. Use a damp cloth with mild soap to gently clean the surface, then allow the mat to air dry completely before use.
Can the mat be machine washed?
No. This play mat is not machine washable. Machine washing may damage the foam filling, surface fabric, and overall shape of the mat.
Will the mat slip on the floor?
The mat has a non-slip backing designed to reduce movement on clean, dry, and smooth indoor floors. For best results, place it on a flat surface and make sure the floor is clean and dry before use.
Can the mat be used inside a playpen?
Yes. Many customers use the mat inside playpens, playrooms, nurseries, and living rooms. Please check the size of your playpen and compare it with the mat dimensions before purchasing.
How do I choose the right size?
Choose a smaller size for compact spaces, playpens, or nursery corners. Choose a larger size for living rooms, playrooms, or areas where babies need more crawling and playing space.
Will the mat have wrinkles after delivery?
The mat may arrive compressed or folded for shipping. Light creases are normal and usually improve after the mat is opened, laid flat, and allowed time to expand.
Does the mat have a smell when opened?
A slight new-product smell may be present after opening. We recommend placing the mat in a well-ventilated area before first use.
Is this mat suitable for newborns?
The mat is designed for supervised use by babies and toddlers. Always use the mat under adult supervision and do not use it as a sleeping surface.
Can adults step or sit on the mat?
Yes, adults can step or sit on the mat during normal family use. However, avoid sharp objects, heavy furniture, or dragging items across the surface.
Can this mat be used outdoors?
This mat is mainly designed for indoor use. If used outdoors temporarily, place it on a clean, dry surface and bring it back indoors after use.
